Since 1851 the Mont Cervin Palace, a member of "The Leading Hotels of the World" and the "Swiss Deluxe Hotels" welcomes guests from all over the world. It has become even more beautiful with its new roof and turret-like emphasis. The spa area has been renovated and enlarged to 1700 m2 and wellness and spa offers have been extended considerably. On the first floor, the Daniela Steiner Beauty Spa proposes various massages and very exclusive beauty treatments.
The Mont Cervin Palace consists of three interconnected buildings and has a total of 133 rooms. All rooms at the hotel and the Residence have been fitted with a modern communication system. Such as cable TV with pay-TV, direct internet access and Public Wireless-LAN. A majority of the rooms face south with a view of the Matterhorn, most of them with a balcony or terrace. Size, location and decoration of the rooms are different but each offers maximum comfort.
Mont Cervin Palace is located in the centre of the village surrounded by shops. Mountain railways leading to the ski and hiking areas are accessible on foot in a few minutes. The largest and one of the finest hotels in Zermatt invites you to restful and eventful holidays both in summer as in winter.
Our restaurant and dining room is subdivided into three different rooms and seats up to 240 persons. Here we serve a sumptuous breakfast buffet and, in the evening, an exquisite dinner, "à la carte" dishes and weekly buffets. There is a large wine selection and traditional service. Dinner is served in a festive ambience, supported by our clients by dressing appropriately. Jacket and tie are required for gala dinners on Fridays (in winter). At Grill Le Cervin you can enjoy your meal in an informal ambience. Meats and fish tastefully prepared on the charcoal grill and market fresh produce from the French kitchen. In good weather the small sun Terrace (seats approximately 30) in front of the hotel invites you to taste a light lunch, or a snack, coffee and pastry in the afternoon and a cocktail in the early evening hours. Dinner under supervision is served to our youngest guests at 6 p.m. at the Cervin Grill (winter only). At The Rendezvous Bar and Lobby, guests meet for cocktails, informal conversation, and an after-dinner drink and sometimes also to shake a leg.
Ideal for large and small functions: "the Alexander Seiler Saal" is the obvious choice for conferences, seminars, banquets, weddings, parties and all kind of events. It disposes of daylight, seats up to 320 persons (banquet) and is divisible into several rooms of varying size. Standard technical equipment and video beamer are available.
