| Description of the Vardar Palace Hotel |
Located in the heart of modern Istanbul, close to Taksim Square, the Vardar Palace is ideally placed to be able to enjoy both the historic and cultural aspects of the city. There are many restaurants, theatres and shops in the immediate area and a short journey over the Galata Bridge will take you into historic Sultanhamet, where most of the famous sites are to found. Constructed in 1901 and retaining many of its original features this traditional, family run hotel is both comfortable and stylish and offers a peaceful retreat from the bustle outside.

| Restaurant:- | The hotel restaurant is used as a breakfast room, however, plenty of good restaurants and cafés can be found in the area around the hotel. |
| Families:- | Family rooms are available for 2 adults and 2 children and cots can be provided for babies. Highchairs can also be provided and babysitters can be requested if required. |
| Business facilities:- | Internet access is provided in the public areas and is free of charge for guests. |
| Disabled facilities:- | The hotel is not specially adapted for disabled guests and therefore we would recommend using an alternative property. |
| 20 mins walk:- | Taksim Square, Ataturk Culture Centre, Dolmabahçe Palace, Open Air Theatre, Galata Tower, Military Museum and Hilton Convention Centre. |
| Public transport:- | The nearest bus stop is approx 150 metres from the hotel, in Taksim Square. |
| From the airport:- | A taxi from the airport should cost around €18 and take between 25 to 35 minutes. Alternatively you can take a bus to Taksim Square and then walk to the hotel, which is approx a 3 minute walk. |
| Parking:- | Public parking can be found 30-70 metres from the hotel at a cost of approx €6 per day. |
| Room facilities:- | Triple rooms can be either 3 single beds or a double and a single bed. |
| Bathroom:- | Most of the rooms have a bathtub with a shower, but there are some rooms with a shower only. |
| Terrace:- | A very pleasant rooftop terrace opens in the summer, serving drinks and snacks. |
