"Excellent value and beach location" |

"We stayed for 2 nights at the begining of a round Florida trip (2 x
50ish adults). The hotel is on the beach at Cocoa, and was a super place
from where to enjoy the beach (or Kennedy Space Centre) as we did. The
room was a normal us (standard) room, 2 queens beds, comfortable and
fully equipped. The room was fine and kept clean but maybe some minor
up-rating is about due. We later stayed in hotels (more expensive) which
had been very recently up-scaled hence the comparision. That said we
were very happy with our room and our stay.
We had read about a
nearby restaurant (The Mango Tree) where we ate and loved it, not cheap
but great atmosphere and excellent food.
As people who consider the
whole Space thing to be a waste of taxpayers money, Kennedy Space Centre
does make an extremely interesting day out. (We took the full monty tour
($50+) the kids on it seemed to get bored very quickly but the adults
all loved it, well we did).
The beach is long, safe, and when we were
there was very quiet.
The hotel is really good value, well located,
close to shopping, restaurants of all types, and touristy things. In our
opinion it is perfect for a family beach holiday, perhaps after being
'parked out' in Orlando. We took pictures of the hotel as we plan to
go back next year with a large family group, including kids and we
concluded that Cocoa was better than the Clearwater, St Pete's
alternatives we had experienced before. "

"We actually got married at this hotel out on the beach. We had 27
family and friends there and everyone enjoyed their stay. The staff were
welcoming and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone"
