Location:
The property is located in the lazy seaside town of Vilano Beach. Only fifteen minutes from Interstate 95, it is nestled in a laid back residential area on Florida's First Coast. Visitors coming over the bridge see a spectacular view of the Resort and the ocean beyond.
Area:
The Resort's location offers the best of both worlds. At the tip of a barrier island, it is surrounded by waterways that flow into the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. They lead into Matanzas Bay which is St. Augustine's historic downtown waterfront.Progress has led to the construction of a beautiful arched bridge that goes over the Intracoastal just one block from the Resort. It takes pedestrians, bikes and motor vehicles from Vilano Beach to historic downtown St. Augustine at the west end. Yet the area remains pristine. Guests can walk a few steps from the hotel to the unspoiled beach where they will see waves washing against a jetty and a view of the barrier island and the St. Augustine Lighthouse in the distance. Around the corner, a tide pool of salt water is perfect for families with small children.

Our 94 guest rooms are available in seven different styles on the property's three floors. All are larger than rooms in an average hotel. All are furnished with the Thomasville Hemingway Collection. Beds are made up with triple sheets for the utmost comfort. Either sliding glass doors to balconies with balustrades, or windows, open to the fresh salty sea air.
Each room has its own digital safe, private telephone line, data port and speed dial to some of the area's best attractions. For your convenience, every room has an ironing board and a hair dryer.
