After a recent renovation of the hotel's 180 guestrooms, new features of this once popular "rat-pack" hangout have been updated to include a heated swimming pool, tropical Jacuzzi, kiddy pool, gift shop and beauty salon and a host of family amenities. The hotel's restaurant, bar and lobby areas reflect the original glamour of this architectural jewel. More than half of the guestrooms are conveniently equipped with kitchenettes for the long stay traveller. Guests can relax by the pool and beachside tiki bar for that tropical atmosphere or stop by the poolside fitness centre for daily exercise.
NOTE: hotel charges 8USD/day (correct as of Oct 2008) resort fee to be paid locally. Valet parking is available at 10USD/day

"Good value hotel on the beach

"First time in this hotel, clean room with sepperate kitchen [ some of
the electric sockets not working so had to take coffee maker into main
room] car park accross busy main road so would advise to use valet
system which was $10 day, good enough as it was $8 day to park over
road. It did not cost much to hire the tiki huts on the beach from the
peaple at the pool but they started to put beds and umbrellas in between
the huts so peaple were to close to each other,we only used these as my
wife likes some shade . location about 10 miles north of art deco area
of south beach
