| Description of the Shore Club Hotel |
The Shore Club in Miami is located on Miami Beach, two blocks from Lincoln Road and 12 miles from Miami International Airport. This property was re-designed by minimalist British architect David Chipperfield, from the original 1949 Shore Club and the 1939 Sharalton hotels on Collins Avenue, the new Shore Club features famed sushi restaurant Nobu, partly owned by actor Robert DeNiro, and an Ayurvedic Spa owned by model Christy Turlington. The three-story penthouse suite features two spiral staircases, a private pool with butler (of course!), and 360-degree wrap-around views. Guests will be amazed at the abundance of proerpty amenities included with this property. Hotel amenities include a swimming pool, concierge, lounge, bar, hair salon, fitness equipment, on-site shopping, and Internet access. Rooms are luxuriously equipped with high speed Internet access, pay-per-view services, air conditioning, minibar, voicemail, iron, ironing board, satellite cable television, refrigerator, and in-room safe.
*Parking is additional $20 per day and paid to hotel direct by guest.
*Beginning Sept 7, 2004, the Shore Club will begin renovation of the Porte Cochere. The renovations should last about 8 weeks for the removal and rebuilding of the main hotel entrance Porte Cochere (the awning), to include beautification of the landscape. Access to remain from the main entrance. Hours of work will be Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm. There will be heavy noise in the first two weeks and reduced noise thereafter.
