"This hotel was in an ideal location. The staff were very friendly and
helpful . Rooms were very nice. It was good value and I would
definitely recommend this hotel. It had a resturant attached that was
also exellent.

"Good standard hotel, helpful staff, excellent midtown location.

"Although the hotel is not very modern, some of the fixtures and fittings
are quite old, the place is very clean and tidy. The staff were allways
very helpful and the maids did an excellent job. Coffee could be made in
your room and the complete lack of any breakfast facilities was made up
by an excellent diner being situated just 30 yards down the street. The
restaurant, although pricey, provided excellent food and the bar was
most entertaining. The location was excellent, with attractions like 5th
Avenue, The Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, Times Square
and even Central Park all in walking distance. We would definitely stay
there again.

The best thing about Bedford Hotel was:"Conversations in the bar.

The worst thing about Bedford Hotel was: "Lack of breakfast facilities.

"Centrally loacted class hotel." |

"We are travelling round the world and this was aour first stop on
route.
This hotel is right where you want it. The rooms have what you
need and the service is good and friendly.
Its only a very short walk
to all major attractions like Macy's, Empire State Building, 5th Avenue
shopping, Central Park is a little further north and more.
There a
few pubs and nice restaraunts near by too.
I would definately stay
here again if and when we return to New York.
