General information
The Air Travel Hotel is situated in the center of bustling downtown San Francisco. Since 1968 we have been a haven for travelers who are seeking spacious and comfortable lodging in a downtown atmosphere. Our hotel consists of 100 rooms providing 24 hour front desk services with a friendly, informative multilingual staff to make your stay most memorable. We are able to offer budget rates for our basic amenities and terrific location. All rooms come with a private bath and shower, high speed wireless internet, direct dial phone including free local calling, TV set with cable,and wall to wall sliding windows with city views from the upper levels. The hotel, including the gated parking garage in the basement, is on a closed circuit television security system.
Location
The Air Travel Hotel is in the center of San Francisco, nestled between the historic Civic Center and Nob Hill neighborhoods. Our immediate area is rich with culture, featuring the historic Opera House, theatre district, and Asian Art Museum within walking distance.
Area
Within walking distance of the
Air Travel Hotel one can find an impressive selection of diverse restaurants, as well as many assorted nightclubs and bars. Union Square, Moscone Center, SONY Metreon, SOMA, Hayes Valley, Chinatown, and North Beach are within twenty minutes' walk. Within two blocks are the State and Federal buildings and courthouses, which are just three blocks off Market Street and the Civic Center BART/MUNI public transportation systems. From there, the Financial District, Mission, Castro, Marina, Waterfront, Golden Gate Bridge and Park, and Japan Center are less than 30 minutes away. Ocean Beach, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, and the entire Bay Area are all within 45 minutes of the hotel.

Quite a good continental breakfast. Helpful and pleasant staff. Clean
