Description of the Omni Hotel
This luxurious, traditional style hotel has a good location on the cable car line at the base of Nob Hill - just a short walk from Union Square. Built as a bank in 1926, the lobby is adorned with Italian Marble, rich fabrics and Austrian crystal chandeliers. Due to the buildings history room sizes can vary but they are all quite spacious and luxuriously furnished in 1920's and 30's decor, with Egyptian cotton sheets and Chinese marble vanities in every bathroom. The hotel also has an award winning American steakhouse and a state of the art health centre.

excellent. John on the front desk not only checked us in, but got is
information on tours provided us with maps and recommended restaurants
for dinner as well as prviding us directions for our alcaraz trip. He
could not have been more helpful.
