The best western edinburgh city is located in the center of the historic city of edinburgh, close by all the key business districts, the edinburgh international convention centre, princess street shopping, edinburgh university, napier college , edinburgh royal infirmary, most major government offices and all the principal visitor attractions including the castle, the royal mile, holyrood palace, the national museum of scotland and dynamic earth. waverley and haymarket railway stations are both nearby as is the main bus station. edinburgh airport is only 8 miles distant. converted to a hotel from a historic victorian maternity hospital during 1998, the building offers an excellent combination of the old and the new with a choice of 52 highly equipped and generously proportioned modern bedrooms and a contemporary restaurant.

"Very Friendly Staff" |

"We stopped at the hotel as part of a break ,we had book to see a show
in the city. I booked on line, I read the reviews about the hotel I know
you can not please some people. Our stayat the hotel was very good ,room
was very clean , towels changed the two day we were there the bathroom
was well stocked out, the breakfast menu covered most peoples needs and
tasted very good and last but not least the staff could not have done
any more to make our stay a good one. Will be using them again when next
we visit the city "
