Arkaroola is a 610 square kilometre Wilderness Sanctuary, which contains one of Australia's most spectacular mountain views. The property features rugged mountains, towering granite peaks, magnificent gorges and waterholes, as well as being the home to over 160 species of birds and the endangered yellow footed rock wallaby. Arkaroola offers three different categories of motel style accommodation. The Greenwood Lodge accommodation offers comfortable rooms for the budget conscious, the Callitris Lodge accommodation offers a slightly larger room with mountain views, and the Mawson Lodge accommodation offers modern facilities with mountain views.
