"Great location, pity about the "heritage room"

"Staff very pleasant, breakfast good, excellent location for getting
around Sydney. Big moan was about the room, I should ofcourse complained
and asked to be moved but after 24 hours travelling one is not always
thinking straight. There was a plaque on the wall proudly stating that
this was a "heritage Room" and that the furniture dated back to 1903 (
can't have meant the bed which was smashing). To english eyes the
funiture was appalling and although we spent 3 nights in this room we
were unable to unpack because there was no room to put anything away.
One cupboard was filled with a fridge, the single wardrobe had an ironing
board in it and that left only one small cupboard and that contained 2
large phone directories. However, as long as you don't get one of these
rooms I would recommend the hotel. It is 5mins walk from central
station,China town, paddys market and 10mins walk from darling harbour.
