"Excellent room, good location and great value

"We stayed in a one bedroom appartment in Feb 2007. The living room was
large and very modern, we had a really well equiped kitchen and the
bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed and lots of storage space.
The bathroom was also big and modern. It was all very clean and really
well looked after. We had no complaints at all, the staff were always
polite and helpfull. We had breakfast in the attached cafe, the food was
really good and great value.

"An excellent apartment hotel in a great location

"Just returned from a stay at Trendwest Apartments, Sydney. I was very
impressed with the standard and cleanliness of the apartments - I stayed
in both a studio and a one-bedroom apartment.
The staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly, and booked several trips for me. In the first apartment, the telphone line didn't work, so the staff very kindly let me use their hotel broadband connection FOC. This was a great help, as I was there partly on business.
It's a shame the STC bistro isn't open in the evenings, as the breakfasts are good and the staff very friendly. However, the hotel is only a short walk from Chinatown and Darling Harbour where there are excellent restaurants.
I'll certainly stay there again!

"Great location near Darling Harbour good value" |

"Hotel was in the middle of restoration, no problems with this. We were
first offered a very 'tired' studio on the eleventh floor which was
quickly changed to one of the updated rooms when I pointed out that we
had actually booked a one bedroomed studio. Found the room very noisy,
conversations in the next door suite bedroom could be clearly heard and
when their shower was running it could have been in our bathroom.
As we were the first guests on that floor after refurbishment
cleaning and laundry change had to be requested for the first few days
we were there."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. I think it had only just been
taken over. We arrived well before check in time at 7.00am in the
morning after a long flight from England and they let us check into our
room. They also upgraded us for free from a studio to a one bedroom
appartment. The furnishings were tired and the carpeting let the room
down. Overall it needed a redecorate and makeover. The location was
quiet. It was good value for money."

"The hotel entrance is a bit small, but saying that it's all that is
needed, it was clean and well furnished with 2 sofa's and there were
very pleasant staff at the desk who went out of their way to help, even
to organise the hire of a wheelchair for my 85 year old mother in
law.
Our suite was very clean, spacious, with ample seating for 4
adults in the louge area and good equipped kitchen area.
The
master bedroom had en-suite shower facilities and was well furnished
with good wardrobe space and built in safe.
Our other twin room
was just as well equipped, but not en-suite, although the other bathroom
was right outside the room and had a good size bath with over bath
shower.
The suite was serviced every day to a good condition and
overall was value for money!
Presently the hotel is being
renovated, although you wouldn't know it, and we had an opportunity to
get a quick view of one of the updated rooms and wow what a big change
they have made, well done Trendwest Suites.
We are looking
forward to a return visit in a couple of year's time when we plan to be
back in Sydney.
