Description of the Austrotel Hotel

Steeped in history, this magnificent building dates back 350 years and was once the residence of the Archbishop. It still retains some of its old features such as high vaulted ceilings in public areas and an original marble staircase that gives the hotel a real sense of richness and character. The atmosphere is intimate and the feel is akin to a boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed and follow a similar design theme. The cosy bar is a great way to relax over an aperitif or enjoy the complimentary tea and coffee. Set within the heart of the city, it offers the perfect location opposite the Mirabella Gardens.

Bar:-	This charming little bar is a great place to relax and unwind before and after your strolls and shopping sprees around Salzburg! Complimentary tea and coffee is also served, whist snacks are also available to purchase.
Room facilities:-	Rooms are spacious in rich dark tones with dark wood furnishings giving a classic look to the room style. Facilities include: satellite TV, direct dial telephone, mini-bar and hairdryer in the WC. Bath robe and slippers can be provided in your rooms (upon request).
Reception:-	Cosy reception area with high vaulted ceilings and "Swarovski" crystal display cabinets. A small e-office is available free of charge for guests (internet corner).
Breakfast Room:-	A good "American" buffet breakfast is served from 7am - 1030am. For late arrivals and early departures a 24 hour breakfast service can be arranged.

"Excellent value for money"
	"Would not class this hotel as 4 star may be 3.5 star but clean, good value, pleasant staff and very convenient for both the old and new town. Near very good restaurants and excellent location for Mirabel Palace. Bus from airport stops right outside hotel. Would stay there again. Nice to have free juice and coffee bar."
