"Dingy hotel in unpleasant location with diy breakfast on disposible
plates etc.

"Dingy decor with peeling wallpaper and broken air conditioning fitting
in bedroom; cracked basin repaired with 'filler', and blocked waste in
bath which meant taking a shower filled the bath. Ice machine broken
while we were there. Serve-yourself breakfast items uncovered on
drinking bar (not even presented nicely on serving tables) with
polystyrene plates and cups, and plastic cutlery (not even a good sized
spoon for cereal) - which I might expect from a beachside takeaway cafe
but certainly not from a hotel: this is an insult to paying guests and
an inexcusable disaster to the environment. The receptionist was
considerably less than helpful when we needed to find medical attention
for our daughter (eventually we had to take her to hospital on 2 buses,
later finding 3 walk-in medical centres within walking distance of the
hotel, which we had not been told about); and the cable kept falling out
of the telephone when we tried to make calls from our bedroom! The
access stairs from the litter-strewn car park smelled of urine and I was
even accidently 'sprayed' by a man urinating at the top as I walked down
the steps. The hotel is located near an industrialised area, with a very
unpleasant smell in the air from a nearby rubbish landfill sight, seen
from our bedroom window. Thankfully as we arrived Sunday evening and
left Wednesday morning we only had 2 days there (one of which was spent
seeking medical attention), otherwise we would certainly have changed
hotels. We will deffinitely not return to the Quality Inn Airport hotel
in Vancouver, and do not recommend it to others.

"Good Value

"We only stayed at the hotel for one night, at the end of a 3 week
holiday. Its handy because there is a free shuttle that runs to the
airport. Nice as you dont have to worry about taxi or anything for your
return journey. Rooms are average, but were clean and quiet for the
most part I wouldnt stay for a long period, but worth it for a last
night stay!

"Good value in a good location" |

"Hotel is close to the airport with a free shuttle bus to and from the
airport. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Air conditioning is a
blessing as Vancouver can be very hot at this time of year. We were not
able to have breakfast as we had to be at the airport before the
restaurant opened."
The best thing about Quality Inn Airport was:"See above"
The worst thing about Quality Inn Airport was: "Kept waiting for over 1 hour waiting for shuttle bus from airport
to hotel."
