Customer reviews of the Metropol Hotel
|
"Nothing special" |
|
"The staff at Metropol had a good grasp of English and were very helpful
on the whole, especially the bar staff.
Overall, the rooms were
comfortable, although the bathrooms seemed a little dated. R
The
hotel was generally clean and well kept, however they did manage to fail
to make up/clean one of our member of our group's room on the
penultimate day.
Breakfast was adequate. There was something for
everyone, but it was nothing special.
The hotel was in a handy
location for the "Old Town", the harbour and had good facilities
(bars, restaurants, pool hall, bowling alleys, off licences and other
shops) nearby.
If you want to use the sauna, remember to take a
towel from your room.
This was not the hotel I had intended to
stay at and probably would not stay here again as there are, in my
opinion, better hotels available for only a small amount more."
The best thing about Metropol was:"Proximity to Spirit Cafe"
The worst thing about Metropol was: "No non-smoking area in bar."
