Tucked away in a small side street in downtown Piraeus, the charming Ideal Hotel offers a newly refurbished and contemporary hotel with an emphasis on value for money. A pleasant breakfast area offset from the main lobby serves a continental breakfast, whilst the all day café bar offers a range of drinks and light snacks. Rooms are well appointed for their class and given that Piraeus harbour is so close, it makes this the perfect base if you plan on a little island hopping to neighboring islands of Aegina, Poros and Spetses. Athens is just 20mins by new and efficient metro service offering the best of both worlds. A great stop over hotel.

| From the airport:- | By taxi direct from the airport c. 20 - 25 Euros approximate journey time 35 mins. Airport bus to Piraeus. The bus station in Piraeus port where you should stop is "Karaskaki" square. From there follow the street of the port having the sea on your right side until you get to St. Nicolas church. At that point, on the traffic lights, make a left turn and walk approx 100meters up the road and then turn left into the first turning, you will see the Ideal ahead of you. Alternatively if you are arriving by ferry to the hotel after a stay on one of the islands, as you come out of the main port, go to your right side and walk until you reach St. Nicolas church. At the traffic lights, going to the left you will see Glaros Hotel in front of you up a slight incline. Opposite the Glaros Hotel there is a small side road and the Ideal can be found along there. |
