The Hotel Stadion is situated within a few minutes drive by car or public transport from the centre of Budapest, in the immediate vicinity of Budapest's largest sports, event and fair centre, the Puskas Ferenc Stadium, the Budapest Arena and the Budapest Fair Centre (BNV). Due to its excellent potentials (which is reflected in the slogan of the hotel "Official Sponsor of Hungarian Sport") Hotel Stadion offers the best solution for accommodating participants of sporting events or congresses and exhibitions, which are often held in their neighbourhood.
Hotel Stadion was opened in 1982. As part of the Danubius wellness and fitness program, a Danubius Premier Fitness Club was opened at the hotel in 2001, which further established the historic sporting links between the hotel and its great location.
The complete refurbishment of the hotel including the lobby, the Coffee Shop & Lobby Bar, the rooms and the common areas was finished in 2002. The hotel with its pleasant warm colours and comfortable furniture has an instantly captivating atmosphere.
Hotel Stadion has a good access both by car and by public transport; the vicinity of metro-line 2, ("Stadionok" Station) makes it easy for guests to reach the downtown within 10 minutes.
