Formerly one of Reykjavik's old stately houses, now a modern family-run hotel. Rooms have a homely feel. Breakfast is served in a top floor atrium offering views over the city centre, complimentary tea and coffee is available here throughout the day. A stylish bistro, bar and nightclub adjoins the hotel although this is under separate ownership. Excellent central location on Laugevegur, the old city's main artery and shopping street.
