| Description of the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel |
18th Century, family owned castle set in extensive grounds between the villages of Dalkey and Killiney. Overlooking Dublin Bay, the city centre is some 15 km away. The nearby DART provides a regular service to the centre (c. 30 mins journey time) and Dun Laoghaire ferry port is approximately 5 km away. Good sized bedrooms are traditionally furnished in keeping with the style of the rest of the property. Public areas are elegantly decorated with a selection of antiques and oil paintings and provide a comfortable setting for guests to unwind. With surrounding picturesque countryside, nearby golf courses and complimentary use of the in-house leisure facilities this is an ideal retreat for those wanting to escape from the bustle of the city centre.
