Description of the Imi Residence Hotel

Located just a short drive from Sandyford village, this hotel is situated in a large complex designed for business meetings and corporate training. There is a LUAS stop (Dublin's new tram) 1km from the hotel (steep uphill climb from the city) where a regular service operates to the city centre (journey time of approximately 20 minutes). The contemporary bedrooms offer good facilities and are decorated in light neutral shades with brighter contrasting furnishings. Guests have use of a small in house fitness room. This hotel is very obviously part of a management training centre popular with local companies but it also offers very good value for money for the leisure traveller prepared to be on the outskirts of the city centre.
Restaurant:-Buffet style. Opens 12.15pm - 2pm. Closed Saturday and Sundays. There are a number of local restaurants which deliver food in the evening i.e. Indian, Chinese and Italian.
Families:-Cots are available and there is a play area
Business facilities:-No business centre. Conference/meeting rooms are available holding a maximum of 350 persons.
Disabled facilities:-Ramp access to hotel for wheelchairs. Wheelchairs can access the lift. Ramps allow wheelchair access to all public areas. There are disabled public toilets. Rooms do have bathrooms especially equipped for disabled users.
20 mins walk:-Dundrum or Sandyford Village. The new Dundrum Shopping Centre.
Public transport:-Nearest bus stop is outside the hotel, nearest train stop is a 10min walk which is ¾ of a mile.
From the airport:-Easiest method of transport from airport to hotel is bus, costing €5. Taxi direct costing c. 40 Euros and takes approx. 30 mins.
Parking:-Private, uncovered, on-site parking which is free of charge
Bar:-No bar, but wine and beer served from reception. Snacks also available from reception.

Bathroom:-Modern bathrooms with shower only
