Description of the Residenza Cannaregio Hotel
This delightful hotel is located in a building which was originally a 17th century monastery and it manages to retain much of the historic charm as well as offering guests modern facilities. The public areas are spacious and relaxing, with work of local artists displayed in the lobby. Bedrooms are decorated in a contemporary yet classic style, which combines Venetian touches with modern taste. Many have beamed ceilings and some have mezzanine floors. The location is great for accessing the shopping streets of Venice and yet guests are just far enough from the thoroughfare to allow a relaxing atmosphere.
