Description of the Hotel Saturnia
The Hotel Saturnia is partially an ancient building of the XIV century (one of the oldest in Venice) owned by the Pisani Family, whose most illustrious representative, Vettor Pisani (1324-1380) was appointed Great admiral of the mighty Republic of Venice during the various wars against the Genoese fleet, waged to retrain control of the merchant trading in the Mediterranean sea. A warm welcome awaits from a courteous and highly trained staff. Each room is furnished in a completly different style, giving a unique experience. There is a cozy restaurant.
