Located on the northern end of Negril`s 7-mile beach on the north coast of Jamaica, Grand Lido Resort sets on 22 acres of beachfront property on a protected cove. It is quite a jaunt to get to Grand Lido as it is 55 miles west of Montego Bay and about an hour and a half drive from the airport.
Grand Lido boasts 200 junior and full suites all equipped with air-conditioning, satellite television, direct-dial telephones, and hair dryers, ceiling fans and a patio or balcony. As with all SuperClubs, the accommodations are not the reason for being there although the suites are nice with Caribbean décor and tiled floors, the food and drink, activity, water sports, land sports, and atmosphere is the main attraction. And there is plenty of all that! Absolutely no tipping is allowed, making the experience quite enjoyable.
Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style on the main terrace, Gran Terrazza. For dinner, there are scheduled dinner buffets or you have your pick of three restaurants of diverse elegance and cuisine. Then there are the Stone, Timber and Beach houses which serve casual light meals and stock a full bar open 24 hours a day. The beach houses each sport a Jacuzzi. And you will never be without something to quench your thirst as there are 9 bars on the property with snacks served throughout the day so your tummy will never be empty.
Two beaches with Jacuzzis and pools are at your disposal. One main beach, pool and Jacuzzi and another beach, pool and Jacuzzi in a secluded au natural environment. The activities and sports abound. From sailing and waterskiing to nature hikes, bicycling or golf, you won`t be bored. A fully equipped fitness center is also available. For evening entertainment enjoy nightly live performances, a piano bar, a game room, laser karaoke and a disco.
