Description of the City Hotel Bruninieks

The City Hotel Brunnieks is a modern hotel which is located within three renovated Art Nouveau buildings and opposite Dailies Theatre and near Skonto Exhibtion Centre in Riga. It is an ideal location for exploring the sights of riga in the day and the nightlife in the evenings. The hotel offers guests a large open reception area with soft seating and bar on the same level. The hotle also features a restaurant and bar at the top of the hotel offering great views of the City. All rooms are fully equipped with all modern conveniences including a minin-bar, and are well sized, comfortable and furnished with pine wood furnishings and blues or warm colours.


Restaurant:-	The hotel restaurant is located at the top of the hotel and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Serves modern European food.
Business facilities:-	There are meeting and conference rooms - the largest of which can accommodate 80 people.
Disabled facilities:-	The hotel is suitable for wheelchair users. The public areas are accessible (although there are no accessible public toilets). Some bedrooms have been adapated.
20 mins walk:-	Riga Old Town, shops, bars, night clubs and restaurants, city parks, churches and museums, Freedom Monument, Art Nouveau architecture in surrounding streets and buildings.
From the airport:-	Taxi from the airport takes approx. 20mins and costs between 7-12LV (depending on traffic.
Parking:-	There is no parking at the hotel
Bar:-	Lobby bar is open daily from 11.00 to 22.00; there is a snack menu available.
Spa:-	There is a sauna which is open 24hours and is complimentary to hotel guests but may need to be pre-booked.
Room facilities:-	Most bedrooms have minibar and most are with shower only. Triple rooms may consist of either 3 single beds, double plus single or twin/double plus rollaway depending on availability.

"Good for the money "
	"The rooms were to a good standard- 3 star is an accurate rating. We ate in the hotel one day and the food was average. Service was a bit slowand the menu was pretty limited. I'd stay closer to the city centre, because the money you save on being farther out, you spend on taxis getting to and from the nightlife.
