"Interesting location... Next to the brothel and near the gay bar!

"Really lovely hotel simple but clean and no cockroaches. Breakfast
was very basic and the same every day but very filling never left
hungry. Tried the restaurant next door was the local brothel, and we
later found out that you cant get to the roof terrace in the evening
because the hookers use that as there gathering spot. Despite this it
didn't ruin the holiday it made it interesting and we wouldnt have
been aware had we not been told. Great location about 15mins walk
from the souks. The reception were very helpful and ofganised us
cheap tours that were well worth the money Overall great value for
money would recommend to a friend
"
The best thing about Tachfine was:"Brilliant location and really helpful reception staff
"
The worst thing about Tachfine was: "On road side so slightly noisy

"Clean room with friendly staff

"Good value in price range. The room was clean and the staff helpful and
polite. The terrace bar provides a pleasant place to sit and look out
over Marrakesh (not the best view - but above the busstle of the town.
An easy tax ride to the Medina or a walk if feeling a little more
energetic. The restaurant was very poor and definitely not to be
recommended which was a shame because it was very pleasant in there.
Breakfasts were more than enough to stoke up for the day! Air con
efficient, which meant we could shut the windows and drown out the noise
from the traffic. Noisy - but then so was the whole of Marrakech!
"
The best thing about Tachfine was:"Overall ok - no outstanding feature
"
The worst thing about Tachfine was: "The restaurant

"Fairly central but could find better...

"When booking from uk I thought this seemed a very reasonably priced
hotel, but on having spent time in Marrakesh I now know that you can get
much nicer hotels/riads for the same price or cheaper. The hotel was
very clean and the staff incredibly friendly, but it's very old
fashioned, brown decor, not much light and not the greatest of
breakfasts (although the man in the restaurant did mnake us fresh coffee
even though we arrived late). About 40 minutes walk into the cntre
(D'jmaa El Fnaa etc) - again there are an abundance of nicer hotels much
nearer to the action.

The best thing about Tachfine was:"Lovely smiley staff.
"
The worst thing about Tachfine was: "Decor!

"Convenient location in the new part of town
" |
|
"Rooms are fine with usual facilities. Quite noisy if you have a room
facing the main Boulevard, otherwise no real drawbacks. Good rooftop
terrace to get away from the noise. Staff very helpful and multilingual.
Plenty of places to eat nearby. Don't ignore the small cafes opposite
the entrance. Great value food. A walk into the Djeema will take about
30-40 minutes. Take a diversion through the gardens to avoid the
pollution.

The best thing about Tachfine was:"Location

The worst thing about Tachfine was: "Nothing
