It was the architect Jose Alvarez Calderon who saw the bay as an ideal place for a sea resort the Swiss Richard Custer and Carlos Suter, the British Bert Balshaw, the French Henri Funerau and the Peruvian Ernesto Raffo who established, at the beginnings of the forties, the basis of tradition, beauty and comfort in Mediterranean style with wide, welcoming and modern spaces looking out onto the ocean. Its name: Hotel Paracas.
