Tucked away in the hillside, perfectly situated amidst the verdant surroundings of the pretty village of Carvoeiro is the Cristal. Vale de Centeanes is just 1700m down hill, whilst both Vale de Covo and Carvoeiro beaches are all within easy walking distance. | Disabled facilities:- | The hotel is not totally suitable for disabled travelers with restricted mobility given the hillside location. However, modifications have been made within the hotel. There are ramps in public areas and there is lift access to all floors. |

| Public transport:- | The closest bus stop is just 100m from the hotel. A railway station can be found at Estombar which is 8km away. |

| Bar:- | Bar "Albatroz" is the cozy bar where a great atmosphere complements a good drink or vice-versa! There is a panoramic terrace and snacks and pastries are also available. Live music is provided every Saturday evening. Open from 10am - 12.30am. "Conquila" is the outdoor pool bar that becomes popular by day as guests laze by the poolside enjoying a drink (or two). |

| Room facilities:- | Bedrooms offer a simple bright summery feel with whitewash walls and terracotta style floor tiles. Rooms offer twin or double beds. Rooms have a furnished balcony with side sea views. |

| Directions:- | From Faro airport follow the signs towards the A22 and head towards Portimao. You then need to head towards the IC4 / EN 125. Stay left and follow the signs for the IP1. Once you reach the IP1 you are on the motorway. You need to take this road all the way to exit number 6 (Lagoa / Silves). As you come to a round-about you need to take the 2nd exit for Carvoeiro. Follow the signs all the way. Once you get into the centre of the village (on the sea front) you need to turn left and drive past the Carvoeiro Sol hotel and continue up the hill (direction "Praia"). You will eventually see signs for the Hotel on your left hand side. |
