| This traditional hotel underwent renovation in 2004, and includes 201 guestrooms across 2 four-storey buildings, of which 57 are suites. Facilities include an inviting and air-conditioned 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom and a lift in the lobby. Dining and drinking options include a cosy bar, an inviting café and 2 stylish restaurants with a separate non-smoking area and highchairs. Various modern seminar and banqueting facilities are also available for those staying at the hotel on business. Furthermore, the hotel includes a souvenir shop as well as a hair and beauty salon. There is a playground and a babysitting service for younger guests. Those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park and garage facilities. |

Here guests will find various shopping and entertainment opportunities, cultural facilities and famous sightseeing attractions, such as the fort or the jail island, Robben Island. The main train station lies roughly 3 km away. In addition, the seaside of the Cape of Good Hope is only a 15-minute drive from the hotel.

The comfortable rooms each come with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, an Internet connection, satellite/ cable TV with a video recorder and a radio function, a minibar and a hire safe as standard. The air conditioning is individually controlled. All lodgings also feature a king-size bed. The suites are similarly equipped but are more spacious and additionally come with a separate lounge.

Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet; lunch and the evening meal can be chosen from the à la carte menu whilst the latter may alternatively be selected from the set menu. Special dietary requirements and individual-specific dishes can be provided.
