| The hotel was built in 2004 and comprises a 7-storey building with a total of 199 rooms, of which 135 are doubles and 64 are apartments. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a lift, a café, a bar, a hairdresser, a TV room, a breakfast room and an air-conditioned restaurant. Furthermore, the hotel offers guests Internet access, use of conference facilities and a kids' club. There is a car park and garage for those arriving by car. |

This stylish hotel is situated close to the town centre within 250 m of the nearest beach. Links to the public transport network are 100 m away and Almeria airport is around 30 km away.

The modern rooms feature an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, air conditioning/heating and a balcony or terrace.

Guests are invited to serve themselves from the breakfast buffet as well as the evening buffet. It is also possible to book half-board or full board.

"4 star Hotel with 2 star management" |

"For those with familes looking for a busy and safe family holiday
resort which is quite different from other Spanish resorts (I.E. not
Britishised) I couldn't recommend Roquetas de Mar more strongly.
Regarding the Bellavista Mar; it was completed in just 2004 so is very
new. It has all the facfilites of a 4 start hotel unfortunately they
didn't always work. The restaurant is good, better choice and variety
than the neighboring Arena Center, however things got cold, and during
the week of a local Spanish holiday period, breakfast was like a bear
pit and the towel situation at the pool became farcical. In additon 2/3
lifts were broken for 8 days, the gym was 'under repair' and there was
6 fire alarm false alarms one for 10 minutes at 1am. Hence my point that
it was built a 4 star hotel but the mangement aren't up to the standard
of running such an establishment. Perhaps with these faults we were just
unlucky. R
The neighbourinjg Arena Center is the main British package
holiday hotel and therefore many more Brits. Bellavista Mar features in
none and therefore of 300 guests in our middle week I would guess less
than 15 spoke English. Our final week was very quiet in the hotel with a
local Spanish holiday in the middle of July having passed. If you want
everything more British with friendly voices visit the Arena Center. The
Bellavista Mar is a good hotel, perhaps the things under repair during
our trip was just unfortunate, they certainly didn't affect our
holiday. "

"A great relaxing get away" |

"I found all members of staff very helpfull and friendly. The hotel
accomadation, both rooms and appartments, were above all expectation.
There was always a wide variety of foods that covered all needs. It was
a peaceful area to just get away from it all."
The best thing about Bellavista Hotel was:"Very relaxing pool area (whole hotel was relaxing)"
The worst thing about Bellavista Hotel was: "Nothing we ca think of"
