| Built in 2001, the beach hotel offers a total of 321 double rooms, which are spread over 5 floors. Amongst the hotel's modern facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception and lifts, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom, a TV room and parking facilities. Dining options include a café, 2 inviting bars and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a separate non-smoking area. In addition, guests have the opportunity to take advantage of the laundry service and there is also a doctor on call. For younger guests there is a kids club and a playground. |

This hotel enjoys a wonderful location next to beach by Playa de las Salinas. The tourist centre, with numerous shopping facilities as well as restaurants and bars are situated just a few paces from the hotel. It is just 5 metres to the nearest public transport connection. The nearest golf course about 6 kilometres from the hotel.

The rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone and satellite/ cable TV. Moreover the rooms are fitted with a fridge, a safe (for an additional fee), central heating as well as a balcony or terrace (with a view of the sea or land).

A buffet is available at breakfast, lunch and in the evening.

The hotel features a pool with a poolside bar, deck chairs and parasols, as well as water aerobics and a heated indoor swimming pool and solarium. On the beach guests are offered banana boating, motor boating, windsurfing, sailing, catamaran as well as pedalos. Furthermore there is the option to join the entertainment programme, the aerobic courses, or try archery, tennis, table tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, bowling, bocce and billiards. Those wishing to keep fit may also wish to make use of the hotel's gym.

"Good value hotel in a peaceful location" |

"We had a great holiday at this hotel, it was very Spanish and not full
of English tourists, it was slightly out of the was of the main town,
but still a lot to do in the vicinity. It was great for our children,
with a lot of activities and entertainments for both children and
adults. R
The rooms were clean and the food was great, a little
repetitive but caterered for everyone. Would recommend. "

The worst thing about Colonial Mar was: "Not many other bars near by."
