"This was our third stay at the hotel, thinking of returning later in the
year. The food, the service and the rooms were first class. Friendly
staff and an efficiently run restaurant with many choices of freshly
cooked food.

"Third stay, which says it all, outstanding on every level as always

"This is our third stay here, but the first time we did half board. I am
sorry we didn't do it on the first two. Food was outstanding, varied and
the restaurant was as always brilliantly run. The hotel is always
immaculately clean, the reception staff first class, choice of tv
stations very good, and if you are a football fan you will see every uk
game televised. Bar service and prices are very good, the entertainment
is a bit basic but I think reflects the more mature Iberian and Teutonic
guests. The only criticism is if you are on the right hand side sea
facing, the bar noise be excessive, but nothing that would put us
off....we will be back...

"Very impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of staff.

Food was varied and of good quality with both english and local
dishes available. All areas of the hotel were clean including the large
outdoor swimming pool. Spa amenities appeared to be good but didn't
actually use these facilities.
The only downside were the flies
around the pool area but these were not a problem when we used an insect
repellent. The flies were not a problem in other areas of the hotel or
on the beach. R
Great location on the sea front overlooking the
fine shingle beach and the promenade which stretches for miles in both
directions. The area leading to the hotel is built up but the car
journey from Almeria airport to the hotel is easily
navigated.
The hotel had a large number of older guests of
various nationalities which adds to the experience and was ideal for us
as a mature couple.
The weather in October was good - 3 out of 5
days were hot enough to sunbathe and swim in the (coldish) pool. We
would certainly return to this hotel and the staff should be praised for
making their guest's stay an enjoyable one."

"We have now stayed at this hotel 3 times and each time it gets better!
The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble, the
food is excellent including the pool cafe which is very reasonably
priced. R
The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the
housekeeping staff do a fantastic job.
We would have no hesitation in
recommending this hotel and would definitely stay there again

"Pleasant, enjoyable stay at a very comfortable, clean hotel" |

"We enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. The food was excellent, with a
wide variety & choice, catering for all needs. Our room was clean, with
a powerful shower! The pool area was kept very well, the water was very
clear and plenty of sunbeds. The staff in the snack bar (particulary a
young girl) were not very friendly and even miserable. The food we
ordered had to be returned because it was not cooked properly. The
bar/pub younger staff were also not very helpful or cheerful but the
older staff were far more friendly."

"Stayed for 5 nights, food good and hot, room cleaned every day. The
location was excellent and good for walking along promenades. The hotel
and area was excellent for people in wheelchairs as there were no steep
climbs around either. Really enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel was caters for people with disabilities and this is important
when taking my elderly father away with me. I have been visiting Almeria
for the last ten years and so far, when talking to people about your
hotel, there has never been one word of complaint. "

"A very well run hotel with very good English speaking expeirenced

"We made our booking over the internet and stayed at the hotel
end
of January. We upgraded to the new part of the hotel and we were very
pleased with the size and standard. We have stayed in many American
hotels but the bed in this hotel even beats the American king size beds.
Our balcony went right around our room and was big enough to hold a
party on. Food was very good with very good wine available at a
reasonable price. The bar area had loads of seating space and Happy hour
was used by all and drinks were very generous. "
