"Nice hotel but extremely noisy and a little bit out of the way.

"There was a party in one of the rooms on the first night and we couldn't
sleep until 3am and on the 2nd night we arrived there was a concert
playing right next to the hotel which went on until 6am.
I feel that the hotel or Midas should have notified us of this as we definitely wouldn't have stayed in this hotel at this time. I wouldn't return to this hotel.

The best thing about Barcelona Princess was:"The room and view
"
The worst thing about Barcelona Princess was: "The noise at night.

"Nice hotel but further out of town than anticipated." |

"We had a lovely sea view from our room on the 23 floor. They should
provide a plug for the washbasin. Please note you are not allowed to
take any food or drink into the hotel of they will charge you. There is
a notice by the front desk but it is in very small letters. Breakfast is
expensive. They obviously did not have a lot of people for breakfast as
they starting putting notices under the bedroom doors telling people
where breakfast was being served! Do not get a room on level 23 if
possible. There is a bar on this floor and we were woken at 4am by a
group of 27 gentleman (the guest in the next room counted them) who,
having returned from a black tie dinner, decided to all sit in the bar
area and have a chat. But they also decided to drag all the chairs
together and they noise of them being pulled over the tiles and the
tables being banged together was horrendous."
The best thing about Barcelona Princess was:"Nice room, complimentary fridge with soft drinks."
The worst thing about Barcelona Princess was: "No plug in basin and strange shower. Bar on floor we were on. Woken at
4am by 27 gentleman who appeared to have been out to a black tie dinner
and then decided to sit and chat in the bar area adjacent to our room."

"Good quality hotel at good value" |

"Having stayed in a Madrid city centre hotel last year and found it a
little claustrophobic, it was a concious decision to take a modern hotel
close to the beach areas, but with good links to the city centre. This
worked out well, with a Tram and Metro close by, and the Tourist bus
stopped right outside the hotel. It took just 10 minutes on the Metro to
get into the centre. Stayed on the 14th floor and was fortunate to have
a balcony with nice views. The room was spacious and the free mini bar
was a nice bonus. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast pleasant
but unimaginative.
The hotel is in the Forum area of the city, and
with a new Marina being developed it is in a very pleasant spot.
I
would recommend Barcelona as a place to visit and you would not go far
wrong with this hotel as your base.

"Amazing Value for such a beautiful scenic location, with both sea and
city views!" |

"This was the second time I had visited Barcelona and was by far the
best trip, thanks to Barcelona Princess. The hotel had exceeded all
expectations, even though I was checking all available pictures and
reviews before arrival on the Internet.
Amazing decor, Blackout
blinds in bedroom, complimentary mini bar (topped up everyday)
Bathrobes, Slippers, amazing Bathroom, and Shower was out of this world!
Once I left the room, I was able to enjoy the bar and lounge downstairs
and even have a nice stroll down to the beach that is in walking
distance.
I would recommend going down to breakfast in good time,
there was a great selection of English & continental choices, as well as
fresh fruit galore.
Barcelona Princess is also next-door to the
biggest shopping complex (You could easily spend the whole day in
there). Eateries, Cafes, Clothes Shopping and cinemas are but a few of
the things you can do within the comlpex.
The views were gorgeous
and it made a lovely change not to be amongst the hustle and bustle of
the city centre, but was easily accessible. I will definitely be
returning to Barcelona and will be staying at Barcelona Princess, thanks
to Midas Hotels.
"
The best thing about Barcelona Princess was:"Overall, Great Service, with Fabulous Views!"
The worst thing about Barcelona Princess was: "I was 100% satisfied, sorry"
