Description of the Confortel Almirante Hotel

In the heart of Barcelona, just a few steps from the Gothic cathedral, this is a modern style hotel in a traditional building. There is a small but welcoming foyer and a bar area on the first floor. Bedrooms are classic in design and there are good standards of service throughout. Locally rated as a 4 star but we feel it is more a very good 3 star, offering good value for money.
Families:-Free baby cots available on request.
1st child policy:-No child reductions, charge on a triple room basis for all occupants.
2nd child policy:-The hotel cannot accommodate two children sharing a room with two paying adults.
Business facilities:-Modem point in the room. Fax and photocopier available at reception. Small meeting room available. Laundry service available.
Disabled facilities:-Lift access.
20 mins walk:-Cathedral, Picasso Museum, Gaudi buildings, Columbus monument, Gothic quarter, Ramblas.
