Description of the Oasis Hotel

Excellent location suitable for the budget conscious traveller.Rooms sizes are small with simple furniture design but well maintained. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. All rooms are fully equipped with ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, TV and direct telephone line. Restaurant is situated on the ground floor and open to the public, offering a wide variety of snacks, tapas and a daily menu presenting typical Spanish dishes.

Location of the Oasis Hotel

The Oasis is in close vicinity to most tourist areas of Barcelona, within 15-20 minutes walk to the Ramblas, near to the Aquarium, and marina area, close to the Picasso museum, Gothic quarter, Colon monument and Olympic Villa, Palau de la Musica and the Park Cituadella which also holds the zoo of Barcelona.

There is an underground station Barceloneta 50 metres from the hotel and several bus lines, among them, the Bus Turistic, with which you will be able to move to any point of the city.

"Good location just away from town centre, quiet and good value"
	"Looked poor from outside but very friendly staff who spoke good English. Nice rooms recently decorated & excellent bathroom, good breakfast with a choice of cereals, toast, eggs, meat cheese, jams & yougut, tea, juice & coffee and as much as you could eat & drink. We would definately stay here again and I have passed details to friends who are going to Barcelona later in the year" The best thing about Oasis was:"A very good breakfast" The worst thing about Oasis was: "Looks scruffy from the outside"

"Great value, handy location"
	"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Oasis although the room was slightly gloomy as the only window opened into a small inner courtyard. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. The breakfast was a little disappointing - not fresh fruit juice, only uht milk (which tastes terrible!) But fairly good value for the price that we paid. "Excellent location and great vakue for money."
	"The location of the hotel was excellent. La Rambles was a mere 10 minute stroll away through the back streets of the Gothic Quater; the Zoo and park 5 minutes away and the port and marina 3 minutes. This meant that although Barcelona has an excellent bus and train infastructure, this was not needed. R The staff at the hotel were friendly and polite. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. This hotel is an excellent base for the more mature couples (30+) who wish to see the sights of this fabulous city. I can recommend it to all."
