| Description of the Melia Colon Hotel |
The Melia Colon has become a symbol of the city since its inauguration in 1929 for the Ibero-American Exhibition and has been regularly visited by the nobility, political leaders and artists. This traditional hotel offers classical style and comfortable surroundings in the heart of Seville. Ascending a staircase from the entrance, guests enter the circular lobby with its impressive stained glass dome in the ceiling. For a taste of real Andalusia, it is worth trying tapas in La Tasca tavern or dining in the prestigious restaurant El Burladero.

| Restaurant:- | El Burladero restaurant is open for lunch 1.30 to 4pm and dinner 9pm until midnight. Popular with matadors of the past, it boasts an authentic bullfighting ambience and serves typical Andalusian cuisine. It is best to make reservations in advance and the restaurant is closed during the month of August |
| Families:- | Standard rooms can accommodate up to one child sharing with two adults. There are some interconnecting rooms. Baby cots and highchairs can be provided on request |
| Business facilities:- | Bedrooms have modem points and there is internet access costing 3 Euros/15 mins and 9 Euros/hour. There are three meeting and conference rooms which can be set up in various formats, with a capacity of up to 350 people. There is also a smaller boardroom style meeting room |
| Disabled facilities:- | There are six rooms adapted for the disabled and wheelchairs can access the lifts. However, there are no ramps from the main entrance to the lobby on the first floor and some public areas have steps |

| Bar:- | The Majestic bar off the lobby serves drinks from midday until midnight. La Tasca del Burladero tapas bar is open from 11am to 1am |
