| Description of the Monopol (Puerto De La Cruz) Hotel |
Run by one family for over 77 years the Monopol enjoys an enviable location in the pedestrian centre of Puerto de la Cruz. It is a wonderful example of traditional Canarian design with wooden balconies and doorways and a central courtyard filled with natural light, plants, flowers and water features. It has been run as a hotel for nearly 120 years and fascinating artefacts from its history are dotted around; including the original switchboard and dinner plates dating back to 1928. Today guests enjoy a relaxing stay in a charming location
