| Description of the Tamaimo Tropical Hotel |
This is a large and well known complex, popular with families and couples who want the flexibility of self-catering accommodation with the on site facilities of a hotel. In a peaceful location, the apartments are well equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave and cooking rings and all have pool views. For the more active guests the complex runs a day and evening entertainment programme, alternatively there are 3 swimming pools with spacious sun terraces for those who just want to relax

| Restaurant:- | The main restaurant is buffet style, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and all board options are available at a supplement. There is also an a la carte restaurant on site |
| Families:- | 2 children's pools, play area, mini golf, hotel run entertainment for children, children's menu and highchairs available in the restaurant |
| Business facilities:- | None |
| Disabled facilities:- | Due to the hilly nature of the resort Tamaimo Tropical is not recommended for people with walking difficulties however the complex is accessible by wheelchairs and there are rooms adapted for disabled users |
| 20 mins walk:- | Restaurants, bars, shops, commercial centre, there is a black sandy beach 2km (1.24) miles away. Guests can walk to the adjacent resorts of Playa de le Arena and Los Gigantes |
| Public transport:- | Local bus stop 200m fom the hotel. Buses from Playa de la Arena and Los Gigantes run to many destinations on the island. Full information on the island's bus service can be found on www.titsa.com. Taxis are also plentiful and are generally good value for money |
| From the airport:- | From Reina Sofia (south airport) by bus there is one change in Las Americas or Los Cristianos, a taxi costs approx 36 Euros and takes 45 minutes. From Rodeos (north airport) buses cost approx 12 Euros with either one change in Puerto de la Cruz or Las Americas, a taxi costs approx 110 Euros and takes around 1 hour 30 minutes |
| Parking:- | Plentiful street side parking around the complex |
| Bar:- | Poolside snack bar open during the day 10am - 6pm, a second bar is open in the evening until 1am |
| Pool:- | 3 pools, 1 heated in winter and 2 children's pools, they are open from 9am until 9pm |

"Good value fab hotel rooms pretty poor standard" |

"The hotel was very nice,the rooms were very basic the spare beds in the
lounge were not acceptable for any longer than one night.but for the
money we paid it is difficult to expect anymore."
