Scandic Malmen offers you a family atmosphere in the heart of Södermalm. From its total of 327 rooms, you can choose from modern cabin rooms, family rooms, and four rooms for disabled guests, standard rooms, superior rooms or eight suites. The hotel has an à la carte restaurant and a coffee shop serving light meals. Children have their own playroom close to the restaurant.
Scandic Malmen offers 327 rooms with a wide range of room types: cabin, double, business and family rooms for up to six people. Welcome to your comfortable room, outfitted in a local design style. Catch up with high speed internet access, watch cable TV, work at the desk or relax with a shower in the bathroom.
Malmen's coffee shop offers lunch from Monday to Friday, with a choice of pasta, a business lunch, the meal of the day, and a vegetarian alternative. From 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM a lobby bar menu is available, providing a choice from a range of dishes and sandwiches.
Malmen's dining room is open from Monday to Saturday. We offer an international à la carte menu alongside Malmen's classic menu of: canapé with shrimps, smoked salmon and horseradish mayonnaise; beef tenderloin Moulin Rouge; and deep-fried Camembert with warm cloudberries.
Malmens's piano bar is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM; a bar menu is served until 3:00 AM. A piano-player entertains guests with some popular pieces from 9:00 PM until 2:00 AM, Tuesday to Saturday.
We can accommodate most types and sizes of event, which we will also help you plan and run on the day. The information below gives you some idea of the different types of event we can host. Our piano-player will entertain you while you are enjoying a private dinner in Malmen's restaurant.
