| Description of the Khao Lak Resort Hotel |
| Renovated in 2006, this family-friendly beach resort stands on the lower slope of Khaolak Hill, and gradually descends to the 400 m long beach. Guests can experience the combination of the sandy beach and the natural green surroundings along the hill slope. Guests are accommodated mainly in bungalows and all rooms have a view of the Andaman Sea. The resort comprises a total of 95 rooms and facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a games room, a restaurant and conference facilities. Guests may also take advantage of the wireless Internet access, the room and laundry services (the former for an additional fee) and the parking facility. |

The resort is situated in a private and secluded area about 500 metres south of Khaolak Town, the centre of day and night time activity in the area. In Khaolak Town guests will find restaurants, public transport and shops. Thap Lamu harbour is situated 5 km to the south. The nearest airport is Phuket International Airport, which is 60 minutes away by car and it is close to Khaolak Lumru National Park.

The rooms are equipped with most modern amenities such as private bathrooms with hot and cold water, individually adjustable air conditioning and cable TV. They feature a hairdryer, Internet access, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, a king-size or double bed and a safe. The accommodation comes with either a balcony or a terrace.

The nearest golf course is a 20-minute drive away at Tub-Lamu Navy.
