Rocky Resort is a private and secluded bungalows Samui resort with 30 Samui bungalows and villas. The resort is situated on the beach, with unparalleled views of the Gulf of Thailand, and only a short walk to downtown Lamai. Long tailed fishing boats can be seen daily as they depart or return home with their catch. Here is the ideal place to relax and feel free to enjoy the natural beauty of these amazing bungalows, Samui resort.
At Rocky Resort we have 2 swimming pools, one along the beachfront, and one in the upper garden. Both have a large deck area where you can sit and relax, order a poolside snack or cocktail. Our restaurant is perched atop a large granite rock, overlooking the ocean. Dinner is eaten with the sound and sight of the waves rolling on to the beach. The bright lights, bars and night life of Lamai Beach are less than five minutes drive away, and popular Chaweng Beach with its colorful array of shops, bars and restaurants, is a 15 minute drive. Rocky Resort has three secluded beaches enclosed by large outcrops of granite rocks which form idyllic sheltered coves. The seawater is crystal clear with beautiful corals and tropical fish ideal for snorkeling.
Unlike other Koh Samui bungalows resort, all our bungalows and villas are well spaced to offer a degree of privacy not available elsewhere. All our rooms have been recently refurbished and decorated. Our facilities are constantly maintained and we keep a high standard of cleanliness consistent with good hotels in Europe. The Rocky Resort beachfront Samui bungalows run along the shoreline and each bungalow is approximately 5 metres from the sea. The oceanview bungalows are elevated to provide a magnificent view of the gulf of Siam and are approximately 25 metres from the beach. Our Samui bungalows are among the best bungalows Samui has to offer. Our Thai Villas are set even higher above, amidst palm trees and exotic planting, to give truly spectacular views. Rocky Resort's Samui accommodation has been individually designed with care and attention to detail. Each room is unique and beautifully decorated with elegance and comfort in mind. Many resorts offer Samui lodging, and few have the standards set by Rocky Resort. The Deluxe Gardenview is a beautifully decorated and recently renovated room overlooking our lush tropical gardens. They are perfect for couples traveling on their own. The rooms come with a queen sized bed, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, hot showers, Minibar, balcony, and spacious bathroom. The room size is approximately 39 sqm.
At Rocky's Restaurant in Koh Samui we pride ourselves on quality. We believe that while you're on holiday, you deserve to have the best of everything. For this reason we have spent many hours working in the kitchen, perfecting our homemade pizzas, fine meats, fresh seafood, and tasty Thai dishes. We have several events at Rocky's Restaurant including beach barbecues, cocktail evenings, and Thai celebrations and we have the capability of arranging romantic private dinners in our Sala and custom menus. Please let us know if you have any special requests. Rocky's Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Koh Samui.
At Rocky Resort, all of our masseuses are professionally trained and certified in all types of Thai massage and Oil massage. You can relax and listen to the sound of the ocean as you enjoy your Thai or Oil massage.
***Cancellations prior to 3 weeks will be refunded less a 5% bank fee. Cancellations 3 weeks or less prior to arrival and no shows will be charged a 1 room night plus 5% bank fee. Cancellations during peak season (December 20-January 10, 2008)will be charged a two night room fee. ***
