Nestled against the backdrop of Florida's Southwest coast, the Sanibel Inn is a romantic getaway showcasing the natural beauty and serenity of a secluded tropical isle. Located on Sanibel Island directly on the Gulf of Mexico amid a true nature preserve, swaying palms and warm Gulf breezes renew the spirit and stir the soul in a lush, eight-acre paradise. Stroll or bicycle the winding paths that lace the resort past our butterfly and topiary gardens. Observe different species of butterflies, hummingbirds, seashells and an array of native plants and wildlife, all protected by law.
An intimate island resort, the Sanibel Inn provides full-service dining, recreational outlets, executive meeting facilities, children's discovery programs, and many other amenities.
***This property is currently under construction and estimated completion date is May 1st, 2005. The pool and tennis courts are currently open. There are limited recreational activities, but guests may acquire a schedule at the property. Workers will be on location from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 6 days a week. Construction vehicles will be present and the following will be taking place: hammering, sawing, painting in some common areas, and landscaping. Most construction will be on the interior, but there will be some work in common areas.***
