Description of the Golden Gate Hotel And Casino
Established in 1906, the Golden Gate is Las Vegas' most historic hotel and casino. When you enter the hotel lobby, you really do feel like you may have stepped back into the Vegas of a bygone era. The hotel has a colourful history and even survived the 22 year ban on gambling in 1909. Being one of the cities smaller hotels - guests will enjoy a more personal experience. However, with all of the excitement and glamour of the famous downtown Fremont street outside the front doors guests will not fail to see the truly modern city that Vegas is today. Guest rooms are clean but quite small with traditional furnishings.
The hotel restaurant is open 24hrs and serves American cuisine.
