"Overall my stay at the Ramada Marco Polo Plaza was nice. The staff were
friendly and assisted us very well. The room size and features were
excellent except out toilet leaked the first night, however the hotel
did assist us accordingly by suggesting that we move to another room.
The pool area was really nice and the beach was amazing. This hotel's
location from Aventura Mall was superb as it was a 10 minute bus ride
but it was too far from Soputh beach as it took 1 hour on the bus to get
their. There was an additional charge that was added to out room at the
end which was not stated correctly in the first place but other than
that, the Ramada Plaza Marco Polo is a nice hotel to stay in.

"Good location right on beach" |

"Nice clean hotel, well located for shopping, sight seeing or just
lazing on the beach. We had a side/ocean view room, very spacious (our
party 3 adults & 1 teenager), we had a microwave & very large fridge,
the crockery & cutlery were a mix of what looked like other holiday
makers had left behind and was very sparse, however this was a very
minor problem as we ate out all the time. The a/c was not very efficient
even on its coldest setting so it became very hot in the room, although
we informed the front deskon more than 1 occaision, nothing was done
about it. Housekeeping was very poor as no one spoke english and a
simple request for tea spoons resulted in forks being delivered on 1st
request and knives on 2nd, after that we gave up.
The valet parking
guys were very rude and impatient, we had just arrived from Orlando and
wanted to take several things out of our car along with suit cases, but
the parking guys were so impatient and started moving our car before we
had removed everything we wanted so we had to walk over to the car park
later that evening and gather the rest of our things. R
Overall the
hotel is very pleasant and situated on a lovely beach and we would stay
there again.
