The holistic and hydrotherapy-oriented Standard Spa is inspired by global bathing cultures and offers indoor and outdoor spa services (additional cost), a Turkish-style Hamam, Roman Waterfall, Aroma Steam Room, Finnish Sauna and Mud Baths. Guests also enjoy an outdoor infinity pool with bay views and poolside bar. The Standard caters to a sophisticated clientele who appreciate modern design and offbeat sensibility. |

Located on Belle Isle, The Standard is connected via a bridge to South Beach, half a mile from the Lincoln Road pedestrian mall and a mile from the ocean.

Room type: DRY MEDIUM: One queen bed with Egyptian-cotton linens and down duvet. Located on the 2nd floor with views of garden or hotel grounds. Exterior-corridor access. 230 square feet. Contemporary Scandinavian decor with light-wood furnishings and wood blinds. Complimentary wireless and high-speed Internet access, day bed, minibar, flat-screen TV, DVD/CD player, and in-room safe. Bathroom has hooded terrycloth robes, Standard Spa toiletries, dual mirrors, pedestal sink, and shower only. LUSH MEDIUM: As above, but located on the ground floor with private outdoor terrace facing the sumptuous inner garden or pool area. | Observations: |
Due to the adult nature of some of the hotel facilities no children under 14 years of age are allowed on property. Complimentary shuttle to The Raleigh Hotel is offered (sister property to The Standard on South Beach, five minutes away). Overnight parking is available at $30 per car per night (subject to change). A credit card is required at check-in to cover incidental charges. An authorization hold of $150 per day will be applied.

From Miami International Airport: Leave the airport and follow the blue sign number 2 to 112 East towards \"Beaches\", a toll road. Exit I-195 East (Julia Tuttle Causeway) to exit 5 (right lane) Alton Road South. Right on 17th Street into the Venetian Causeway. Turn right onto Island Avenue, the hotel is on the right hand side. From Fort Lauderdale International Airport: Take I-95 southbound, exit I-195 East (Julia Tuttle Causeway) to exit 5 (right lane) Alton Road South. Right on 17th Street into the Venetian Causeway. Turn right onto Island Avenue, the hotel is on the right hand side.
