"Best hotel deal ever"
"After a long time shopping around on the internet, I booked a room in
the Affinia Manhattan (used to be the Southgate Tower) for only 118EUR a
night with midas hotels. A real bargain for a manhattan hotel. Of
course, there are sheaper hotels, but considering the location (across
penn station and madison square garden) is it the best deal you can get.
It's just steps away from times square and only a 15 minute walk to
central park. The empire state building is just around the corner and
the flatiron building is also not to far away. It's just a great
When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that we will get
a junior suite (we only booked a standard room, maybe a standard room is
a junior suite at this hotel, honestly I don't know). We couldn't
believe our eyes when we walked into our room. Unbelievable that they
didn't charge more then 118EUR a night for this. There was a full
kitchenette, a small one, but everything was there, even a coffeemaker
with coffeepads. There was a really big bathroom, never seen that before
in a hotelroom. We had two big closets, a desk with two comfortable
chairs, a big television, a playstation, two really comfortable queen
beds. One thing I have to mention, the room was very, very clean. In a
word, we were very pleased about the hotel and even though it will cost
us more then when we stayed there in 2005, we will stay here again when
we visit manhattan."
The best thing about Affinia Manhattan Guest Room was:"Great location, very clean rooms and friendly staff."
The worst thing about Affinia Manhattan Guest Room was: "Absolutely nothing"
