Customer reviews of the Jolly Hotel Madison Towers

"In actual fact it was good value in an excellent location!

"Having only stayed in New York once before, we really didn't know what
to expect, however we were pleasantly surprised. The location of the
hotel, really just around the corner from Central Stration was a real
bonus. Our room was more than adequate although with a 6' 2" tall
husband the bathroom really wasn't ideal - he described it as trying to
dry himself in a cupboard following his shower! The interior of the room
was nice, and the lobby of the hotel was spacious and welcoming; the
downside was the hotel bar - there was no atmosphere whatsoever and the
bar staff made absolutely no attempt to engage in pleasantries - so much
so that after our first visit we decided it just wasn't worth it - there
were some really warm, welcoming and friendly bars within close walking
distance of the hotel.
The maids kept our room well, although we always left it tidy anyway - the only disappointing thing was hearing a less than pleased maid complaining on the morning we left because we had left some surplus packaging, magazines etc. for trash. We did however put it all in bags and it wasn't heavy - all she had to do was move it!
The concierge, the 'bellboy' and the staff in the staff in the lobby were all extremely pleasant and helpful.
"
The best thing about Jolly Hotel Madison Towers was:"The location was excellent.
"
The worst thing about Jolly Hotel Madison Towers was: "The bar.
