"We found that the hotel/hostal is clean even the building is quite old.
That's a good value for money, don't expect a 4 star hotel, that's a
cheap hotel/hostal with friendly people and very clean and good size
rooms. Toilets were so clean so you won't have any problem if you like
to have a shower.

"Hotel is basic but clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The
location is the major selling point it is 5 blocks (about 10 minute
walk) from the empire state building. With easy access to the rest of
manhatten by foot or on the subway which is on East 28th street, 2
blocks (about 3 mins walk) from the hotel.
Probably best suits young people or people travelling without small children.
All in all cheap for the location, clean with friendly staff to help you.
