Description of the Millennium Un Plaza Hotel

The Millennium Hotel, New York, UN Plaza is a quiet haven, located 28 stories above the avenues on the fashionable East Side of midtown Manhattan and directly across from the United Nations. Spacious guestrooms, all with panoramic views of East River or the New York City skyline, have recently been converted into Millennium Classic rooms. Classic rooms have the feel of a contemporary, upscale residential apartment, with a friendly but sophisticated ambience. Neutral tones are punctuated with bright accents and liberal use of woods to lend a restful air. Newly installed telecommunications technology and lighting are highly functional without detracting from a cosy, warm atmosphere. Such touches as Knoll Soho ergonomic chairs, large desks and well-stocked mini bars further ensure comfort.

Location of the Millennium Un Plaza Hotel

The hotel is a most convenient address for a visit to New York City; it's part of the heart and soul of the "Big Apple". Wall Street, the Financial District, the Theatre District and a multitude of dining options are close at hand. Grand Central Terminal is merely three blocks away, and Fifth Avenue is just five blocks.

    "The Millenium is a fantastic hotel, all of the staff go out of their way to help and are very approachable. The rooms are huge, by New York standards and the views are stunning. Try and get a room in the East tower facing South as these have amazing views of the empire state Building. Loved this hotel, would highly recommend it. John's is a minutes walk away from the hotel, the breakfast is great and very cheap! "

    "Set in a central location near lots of good local bars, Delis and a short walk Grand central Station. The staff were helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome and the rooms were well appointed, roomy and clean. It may not be the cheapest hotel in town but it offers very good value for money. This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel and am looking forward to my third visit next year. "
