"We booked in for 7 nights from the 23rd December 2007, we had previously
stayed at this hotel in September 2007 and had a wonderful time. The man
who checked us in was brilliant, we requested adjoining rooms on the top
floor and he checked us us in early. We were a little disappointed to
find that the swimming pool wasn't heated which was a bit of a shock to
my husband and daughter. We were pleased to find complimentary coffee
available at reception, however no hot water for tea! Still a great
location at a reasonable price, even though the Mercado has been
demolished. If you are going to do your laundry, ensure you have plenty
of 'quarters' as they do not hold many at reception.

"A hidden gem

"Just off the main tourist trail in the International Drive area, this
hotel was perfect for the needs for anyone visting the attraction areas.
The rooms are a nice size, very clean and well presented. The staff were
very helpful and friendly. The pool was small but sufficent for a quick
dip but most what gave the most suprise was how quiet the hotel was. We
stayed over labour weekend and the hotel was not that busy at all, a
nice change from the hussle and bussle of others we have used.
Coffee provided at reception 24/7, restaurant on site serving breakfast and evening meals however it is a very short walk to get to International Drive where there are plenty of eating places.

"We have stayed in orlando at least 12 times and this is one of the best
. we would stay again , very quite at nights, find it from int. Drive
just behind the meccado, or from universal boulv. The swiming pool area
is not massive but most peaple would probably not be using it for to
long recomended
"

"We stayed for 7 nights in a clean and quiet room and thoroughly
enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The
hotel has a decent sized outside pool and jacuzzi with fresh towels
and loungers available. Nice and close to local attractions but in a
quiet location. Perfect.

"My wife and I could not believe the standard to which this hotel treated
us to. Excellent rooms, Very,very clean and well appointed. I would,
without hesitation, recommend your hotel to anyone wanting a very
comfortable place to stay with friendly staff. In fact both my wife and
I have already done so.

"Great value booked through yourselves, tried to book an extra night
through the hotel but worked out a lot more expensive. Fantastic hotel,
superb location, within walking distance to many restaurants and
International Drive, however lacked complimentary tea and coffee
available at most hotels 24 hours in lobby area. Standard room was very
comfortable and quiet."

"Great hotel, great location, and very good value" |

"My wife and I have stayed here many times, the location is just behind
international drive, you can walk to pointe orlando in 15
minutes,universal studios 5 min drive, wet and wild is less than that
and sea world also about 5 mins, the hotel is very modern set in nice
grounds rooms are very good size and very clean,and they all have
fridges and microwaves. All the staff are great especially the front
desk who are very helpful, the pool area is quiet and gated the gym is
small, they buffet is okay for what it costs, I think it was $6 or $7.
in all I would recomend the hotel to anybody we left there on the 19th
sept 2006 and will be back there in november."

"An unexpected treasure" |

"We wanted to stay for two exta days in orlando and checked into the
holiday inn via midas. We had been staying up the road in the best
western and couldnt beloeve the differance for the price. This was an
inside corridor hotel with fantastic rooms clean and fresh with linen
change every other day. The pool was small but as there were not many
guests we got to know each other and enjoyed catching up each
day.
The rooms had microwave and fridges and the bathrooms were
really well set out.
The breakfast (not in price) left a lot to be
desired with not many of the staff speaking great Engligh. However we
enjoyed our stay very much and after 6 days in the best western this was
very good."
